Professional Resumes

We do professional looking resumes with all the content required by prospective employers.  Some people do their own resumes without realising that your resume or curriculum vitae is your first step towards the position you're attempting to secure.  Very rarely are you the only applicant so you need a resume that concisely summarises your contact details, qualifications and employment history without being either too sparse or too lengthy. 

We recommend 3 - 4 pages for your resume and it should be updated with no major unexplained gaps.  If your existing resume is only 1.5 pages we can look at your strengths to give a personal profile.  We place your employment history in chronological order, starting with the most recent position. The responsibilities or duties of each position are placed in point form and should not be too wordy.

If your resume is 10 -12 pages long it is likely to put the reader to sleep, especially when they have a number to peruse.  Sometimes we supply the person with two different resumes, a concise one with the essential information and a more detailed one, which may include extra information such as publications or extra qualifications unrelated to your line of work.

The cost of the resume is $195 and it usually takes our staff a full 2 days to complete it.  If there is a deadline to be met please inform us when you email or post the details or old resume.  If you need the resume in a hurry transfer the $195 to our business account by bank to bank transfer and inform us of the transaction number.  Usually we can have the completed resume emailed as an attachment within 24 hours of receiving payment.  If there are minor corrections or modifications we do them free of charge.  We do not get involved in face to face meetings prior to processing because we find it is unnecessary and can waste time for all concerned.  All requests and deadlines need to be stated in writing.

Applications (Selection Criteria)

You only need to have assistance with the first employment application involving Selection Criteria.  Once these have been professionally completed you may use them as a model for future applications since your experience and qualifications will remain basically the same.

The cost for your Selection Criteria from start to finish is $195 since it involves two solid days work by our staff. We suggest you save 50% of the cost by doing a rough draft yourself and sending it to us my email or post.  We will revise it and correct sentence structure and grammar for $95.  If we are also working on your new resume then we have already familiarised our staff with your qualifications and experience for the position in question.  Here is an example below:

Cover Letter

We suggest you save 50% of the cost by constructing a rough draft of your cover letter following a similar format to that given below.  Make sure you include your current postal address and that of the prospective employer, naming the person and section of the the area to which the letter must go (eg. Human Resources Officer, Employment Section). 

The cost of the Cover Letter alone is $39.95 but if we are supplying your resume and/or Selection Criteria the cover letter is supplied for only $20.
